Branded Terms

See your negative results move toward page two, day by day.

In Nozzle, you assign positive, neutral, or negative sentiment to every URL and SERP feature that appears for your branded terms. Each result then carries its rank history in that color from the day you add the term, so one chart reports the negative results moving down the page toward page two and the positive and neutral ones rising.

You can also show side-by-side snapshots of the SERP on the day the campaign started and the SERP today, with Nozzle Vision coloring every result by its sentiment, so your client sees the negative result gone from page one in the SERP itself.

Thirty results for one branded search in Nozzle's colors: 9 Very Negative, 8 Positive, 8 Neutral and 5 untagged. Page one ends at #11. On Nov 8, 2025 a news story sits at #8 on page one and your own forum thread at #19 on page two. Eleven weeks of daily ranks later, on Jan 27, 2026, the story is #18 on page two and the thread #7 on page one, and every crossing of page one's floor has a date.

01

Negative results sink as positive and neutral ones rise

Pick the results the campaign is about and the chart isolates their lines, each in its sentiment's color. Here a news article moves from rank 8 to 18 over twelve weeks while a forum thread climbs from 19 to 7, so the day the article left page one is a dated point on the chart rather than a claim in a report.

How to set a sentiment on every result
The History by URL chart in Nozzle for one branded keyword in Reputation view, Nov 2, 2025 to Jan 27, 2026. Thirty results are listed at the left with a colored dot each, ranked as they stood on the last day, and two rows are highlighted, a thread on the brand’s own community forum at rank 7 tagged Positive and a news article at rank 18 tagged Very Negative. Their two lines are bold on the chart and every other line is faded. The red line holds rank 8 through the first week of November, steps down to 15, runs between 10 and 17 through December, falls to between 18 and 26 in January, and ends at 18. The green line enters at 19 on Nov 8, moves between 14 and 29 in November, sits between 15 and 20 until mid-December, climbs from 16 to 7 in the second half of December, holds between 4 and 9 through January, and ends at 7.

A question box about a lawsuit is a negative result too

A branded SERP is not only blue links. People Also Ask, video packs, product packs, People Also Search For, and image packs each get a row and a sentiment in the Reputation column, Neutral until you decide otherwise, so the question box asking about a lawsuit is marked negative and tracked like any URL.

The Reputation Management dashboard, step by step
A SERP Results table in Nozzle with Result Type, URL, Reputation, Displayed Title and Rank columns, twenty rows for one branded keyword on Aug 28, 2026, ranked 1 to 21 with the local pack’s inner results collapsed. Each row carries a colored sentiment dot and label. The brand’s site at rank 1, its Instagram at 3, the local pack at 6, an Amazon listing at 9, a Walmart listing at 11, a press release at 13, an Amazon product page at 14, a product pack at 16, its YouTube channel at 18, a page on one of its subdomains at 19, a review site at 20 and a second product pack at 21 are Positive. The People Also Ask block at 2, the Wikipedia article at 4 and a review site at 10 are Very Negative. The video pack at 5, People Also Search For blocks at 12 and 17, the About panel at 15 and a Refine By button are Neutral.

03

Show the SERP on day one and the SERP today in the same colors

Put two dates side by side and switch on Color by Reputation. The Nozzle Vision overlays on both pages follow the sentiment you set, so the owned pages are green and the lawsuit questions red on the day you started and on the day you report. A client sees what moved without reading a rank table.

Everything Compare History can show
Two Google results pages for the same branded keyword side by side in Compare History, with Nozzle Vision on and Color by Reputation switched on, dated Jun 30, 2026 on the left and Sep 22, 2026 on the right, each with a page map beside it. On both days the first result is the brand’s own site with five sitelinks, every box outlined green for Positive and labelled rank 1, and the second is a People Also Ask block with four questions, outlined red for Very Negative and labelled rank 2. The sitelinks differ between the two days, and so does the fourth question, which asks what country the brand is from on the left and what it is famous for on the right.

Thousands of URLs, three buckets

Assign sentiment to as many URLs as the campaign needs. Paste every review page, forum thread, news story, and owned page into a positive, neutral, or negative bucket, hundreds at a time, and each one is tracked under that sentiment from then on.

How to bulk upload URLs as brand properties
A Brands table in Nozzle with Brand Name, Type, Reputation Impact and Properties columns and three rows. Negative, typed Competitor (Direct) with a Reputation Impact of Very Negative, holds 904 properties. Neutral, typed Neutral with a Reputation Impact of Neutral, holds 2067. Positive, typed Owned with a Reputation Impact of Positive, holds 352.

Common workflows

Three jobs for one branded SERP.

Report progress to a client without a rank table

An agency running reputation work opens the chart or the two-date comparison on the client's own branded term, and the negative lines going down and the positive ones going up are the report. Each client is its own project.

The Agency solution

Watch review sites, forums, and news on your own name

The results that shape a reputation are rarely yours. Trustpilot and ConsumerAffairs pages, Reddit threads, Wikipedia, and news coverage each get tagged as they appear and carried from then on, so a thread climbing from page three is seen on the way up rather than after it lands on page one.

Define the brand and its properties first

Hourly while a story is breaking

A recall, a lawsuit, or an executive in the news changes a branded SERP within hours. Set the branded terms to hourly for the week with a start and end date, watch the new results arrive and tag them, and drop back to daily when it is over.
