A used-car retailer tracks 302 searches for one model, the Toyota RAV4, every day on mobile in the US, each tagged by year, trim and pattern. On Oct 9, 2026 each had its own first organic result: the maker's site held 79, publishers 53, history and value sites 48 and marketplaces 47, and "toyota rav4", "rav4 for sale", "2018 toyota rav4" and "rav4 vs crv" each went to a different kind of site. The retailer ranked in the top 10 on 48 of the 302: on 6 of 15 Sell My Car searches (40%), against 42 of 262 Inventory searches (16%) and none of 24 Research searches. The same program tracks 17,923 searches a day across 39 makes.

Operating Model

How Nozzle fits a automotive workflow

These pages are designed to frame the platform around the operational questions each team is actually trying to answer, not around a generic product checklist.

01

Use a dataset that already understands automotive demand patterns

Automotive visibility work gets unwieldy fast because the query space is so heavily segmented by make, model, year, modifier, and market. A curated dataset shortens the path to useful insight.

  • Explore tracked keywords across hundreds of makes and thousands of models.
  • Review visibility at the market level instead of relying on one generalized national view.
  • Start with segmented SERP coverage that is already organized for analysis.

02

Go beyond make and model reporting

Automotive teams also need to understand the broader query patterns that shape buyer research and conversion behavior.

  • Track searches focused on new vehicles, used vehicles, and review-oriented research.
  • Understand how informational and transactional SERPs differ across the buyer journey.
  • Compare how those result sets change across markets and competitors.

03

Measure the role of local packs, ads, and other SERP features

Automotive search results often shift visibility through features that materially change click opportunity. Those features need to be part of the reporting conversation.

  • See which queries trigger local packs and who occupies them.
  • Monitor feature-heavy result sets that include vehicle ads and commercial modules.
  • Use this context to improve local presence, paid strategy, and organic prioritization.

Evaluation Questions

The kinds of questions this solution should help your team answer

A useful solution page should sharpen evaluation and strategy, not just restate platform capabilities.

How visible are our makes, models, and markets relative to competitors?

Which automotive SERPs are dominated by local packs, vehicle ads, or review content?

Where should dealership or OEM teams focus next based on search visibility gaps?
